Peeing your pants is NOT your new normal!
Living in fear of prolapse is NOT your new normal!
Feeling dissatisfied with your abs is NOT your new normal either!

I'm here to help you SHATTER the old definition of postpartum "normal!"

Let's redefine the vision of what prenatal wellness and exercise can look like!

Who do I serve?

I guide women through the changes of pregnancy and postpartum recovery to educate and empower them about their bodies and help them find their confidence to successfully manage common symptoms in this season of life. If you're experiencing leaking, prolapse, diastasis recti or if you're not sure how to modify prenatal exercise or how to safely return to postpartum recovery- you're in the right place!

Whether your goal is to stop peeing when you sneeze or you're training for a marathon, the foundation to these goals are the same! All postpartum women, from professional athletes to those who have never exercised in their life, have the same starting point when it comes to recovery. There is a process that nobody is exempt from no matter how fit they were before delivery.

What clients say about my courses & training:

Charlie, mom of 1

"After working with Dr. Matejka I’ve learned how to engage my core more not only while exercising but in my day to day life. She has also taught me how to to be more aware of my pelvic floor muscles and is helping me on the way to fully recover from postpartum complications."

Alyssa, mom of 3

"Working with Aly has allowed me to get back to playing indoor soccer- which I haven't done since having kids- without leaking! In just a few weeks I went from peeing my pants 5 minutes into a soccer game, to absolutely NO leaking! If you're on the fence about working with her, just do it! "

Dawn, mom of 4

"My youngest 'baby' is 26 and Aly helped me realize that I had several issues that needed to be addressed and that they were not 'normal.'  She helped me with diastasis recti, c-section scar pain, and leaking. I'm so proud of myself for making the decision to stop living with my leaking- I just wish I would have known to do this years ago!"

Simone, mom of 1 (soon to be 2)

"10/10 I would recommend working with Aly to a friend! She helped me connect to my pelvic floor while pregnant. Time spent working with her is so valuable!"

Common doesn't mean normal...

Prolapse, abdominal separation, leaking urine and even feces is common after childbirth but it doesn't mean it is normal. It doesn't mean you must live with these problems for the rest of your life. Motherhood changes us in so many ways, and I believe it should be for the better. You have become stronger and more resilient and now it is time to take that energy into your own well-being.

Taking care of yourself is not a luxury!

It is essential for your health and wellness and the wellbeing of your family. Mom life is busy and unpredictable. That's why I believe in taking small steps that can be implemented into any workout or daily activity. Small changes can add up to big improvements! In just minutes a day, you can learn how to improve your posture, breathing, and movements to ease pain and restore function to your pregnant and postpartum body. You can do this!

The 5 Things I want for ALL Women:

  1. To feel like a good mom, wife or partner, and friend but to also acknowledge that her own well-being, passions, and dreams are just as important as her family's. To make space for herself and find balance.
  2.  To feel love towards herself and be proud of the incredible things her body has accomplished because pregnancy, labor, delivery, and breastfeeding truly are marvels.
  3. To feel confident that her body is ready for action, prepared for the activities she loves. No matter what brings a woman joy, I want her body to experience it without pain or discomfort and have those activities add to her quality of life.
  4. To feel empowered in education and knowledge of her body, especially in the areas of pregnancy and postpartum changes. To feel worthy of  support during these incredible seasons of life.
  5. To feel herself moving in a positive direction as she navigates the ups and downs of life.
