NOBODY is exempt from the foundational postpartum recovery stages. Everybody, no matter how experienced, strong, fit, or bad*ss, everyone begins at the same starting line.
So no matter if you delivered years ago or days ago, we all need each phase: reconnect, restore, rebuild. This online coaching program is designed to be safe for moms in all stages, even immediately after delivery!
Have you tried piecing together bits and pieces of information off the internet to try to stop your leaking and strengthen your core and you haven't been successful?
That's because this isn't meant to be a quick fix- it's a process that requires support and guidance. The best athletes in the world still need a coach to win and you need a coach to reach your goals too!
This program is more than just videos, it includes an online group for support, motivation, and community with other moms in the program, weekly live coaching calls with a pregnancy & postpartum corrective exercise specialist, and lifetime access to online content, workouts, and group.
You'll also have a full program workbook for further guidance and deeper reflection. You will be fully supported through your pelvic floor and core restoration journey!
Here’s why it works: It works because it’s a combination of pelvic floor and core restoration and fitness progression based on my unique background as an athletic trainer & experience coaching postpartum women. I've rehabilitated elite level athletes- this program knows no limits!
Here’s why it’s different: It’s different from everything else you've tried because it’s actually designed for postpartum women wanting to pursue their fitness goals without leaking. Unlike other programs that strictly focus on workouts without providing pelvic floor and core restoration, my program combines these two components so that you can ACTUALLY get results.
In 15 weeks, you'll restore your core and pelvic floor function so you can return to running, lifting, and jumping without leaking or prolapse while healing diastasis recti.
If you're like me, you may have believed the lie- the one that goes something like this: If you stay in really good shape while pregnant, you'll have an easy labor and "bounce back" right after the baby's born. Yeah... that was not true at all!
I followed the advice and did "whatever I was doing before pregnancy" including running and lifting and I still had a brutal first labor that resulted in an emergency c-section. I actually recovered pretty well- no pelvic floor symptoms and I found core exercises on the internet.
After the birth of my second child, I had a third degree tear and more pelvic floor symptoms than I could count. I couldn't workout without pelvic pain or leaking. It was a disaster! I had lost a huge part of my identity- being athletic.
By the time I researched what pelvic floor therapy was, COVID hit and every office was closed. I did what I had to do and figured this all out on my own. And let me tell ya, it really sucked!
But ultimately, it led me to taking a leap of faith and taking a course to become a pregnancy & postpartum corrective exercise specialist. After my third pregnancy, I experienced such an amazingly complete recovery because I knew exactly what to do. I was able to return to running and lifting and even playing soccer without any leaking and full core function and strength.
And that's what I do for other women now- I coach them through the postpartum recovery process in a way that allows them to continue to pursue fitness and reclaim their athletic selves.
Reconnect:
The first step of postpartum recovery is reestablishing a connection between the pelvic floor and the core, a step commonly skipped in other programs. Think of this as the starting line of your race. Reconnecting to the deep core and pelvic floor truly is the foundation to all of your fitness goals because all movement comes from the core.
Restore:
Restoring proper function to your pelvic floor and core is the real game-changer for a better quality of life. Without these systems functioning properly, you’ll continue to experience leaking, prolapse, and diastasis recti. You will constantly experience setbacks when you try to progress to more challenging exercises. This stage encompasses a true mindset shift and believing that the intentional movements you do now will lead you back to the activities that you love.
Rebuild:
The rebuilding stage includes ensuring that you are strong and capable of the demands that life puts on you. Taking a whole body approach, including your pelvic floor and core, prepares you for a return to the activities that bring your joy, align with your lifestyle, and support you through a lifetime of fitness.
When an athlete tears their anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) they are advised that their injury is serious and requires surgery and almost a full year of therapy before they can expect to return to activity.
They have MULTIPLE appointments with a therapist and follow-ups with a physician. It takes months to heal and properly strengthen the body to prepare for physical activity and prevent further injury.
But when a woman has a baby she is given ONE follow-up appointment six weeks after having a human being come out of her body and told she is cleared to return to all previous activity.
Oftentimes the woman is still experiencing pain, dysfunction, leakage, and weakness and given no guidelines on how to begin strengthening her body again.
I see too many women struggle for so long trying to figure this all out on their own. You need and deserve guidance for returning to the activities that bring you joy!
That's why I've created this proven system for postpartum women, specifically "Mom Athletes," to rebuild the safe and effective way!
